(Senior) MLOps Engineer (m/f/d) Contract

Join our NLP team effective immediately in a full-time position preferably in Munich, at one of our locations in Germany or remotely across Germany as (Senior) MLOps Engineer (m/f/d).

Your tasks

• Monitor and troubleshoot the AI and language models in production, utilizing various tools and metrics to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and refine the CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies to manage and scale AI and language models.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation, best practices, and standards for the AI and language models in operation.
• Conduct research and evaluations of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the performance and efficiency of AI and language models.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to provide constructive feedback and insights for the improvement of AI and language models.
• Take responsibility for the deployment and updating of language models in production using tools such as SageMaker, transformers, DeepSpeed, and other relevant technologies.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s level study program in computer science, engineering, or a comparable educational background.
• You possess at least 3 years of experience in ML/Deep Learning Engineering, MLOps, AI ops, LLMOps, DevOps, or a similar role.
• You are proficient in Python, SQL, Bash, and other scripting languages that are essential for AI and language model operations.
• You have working experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS > Azure and are familiar with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, as well as orchestration tools like Airflow, Kubeflow.
• You have a solid understanding of AI and language models, covering areas like NLP, computer vision, and speech recognition.
• You have hands-on experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), libraries (Transformers, DeepSpeed, AWS Sagemaker SDK, etc.), and tools (Grafana, Weights > Biases).
