Data Analytics/Visualization Specialist, SBG Full Time

SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. (SBG), a DSS, Inc. company, offers Systems Engineering, Enterprise Modernization, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and IT Governance innovation to Federal and commercial clients nationwide. We are looking for an Analytics/Visualization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard working with the ability to excel in a challenging, fast-paced government contractor environment. The position location is in Huntsville, AL. This position is contingent upon award.

OVERVIEW

The Analytics/Visualization Specialist will work across the project team and with client stakeholders to produce information/analysis products that help mission intelligence analysts and other client stakeholders interpret and understand data.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to develop, implement, and support the production of data visualization tools and systems
• Apply technical expertise and industry knowledge to drive innovative solutioning
• Leverage your analytics, reporting, and visualization skills to develop graphical information products that help visualize large and complex datasets to drive decision making
• Work as part of a team to develop, implement, and support visual analytic products and reports
• Help interpret and understand functional requirements and designs
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop subject areas, dashboards, reports, KPIs, and other informational products
• Architect, configure, design, develop, test, and implement reports and dashboards that effectively use the underlying data/analytic platform
• Work onsite with other teammates and the client team full time.

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience
• Active Secret Security clearance required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Experience in data analysis, data visualization/digital design and dashboard development
• Experience translating data into PowerPoint narratives
• Willingness to work full time on client site

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous consulting and/or professional services experience, preferably with government clients
• Ability to operate at a high-level with little guidance/direction to support client deliverables
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
• Experience using Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or Vantage
• Experience or familiarity with a wide range of analytics techniques, such as statistics, simulation modeling, optimization, machine learning, or natural language processing
