Job Description:

We are looking for a talented TensorFlow/Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in video processing and object detection to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models using TensorFlow to detect objects such as handrails, toilets, patient beds, and more in video streams. In addition to your machine learning skills, proficiency in Web API development, SQL, and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and optionally .NET is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development and Training: Design, build, and train machine learning models using TensorFlow for accurate object detection in video streams. This includes data preprocessing, model architecture design, training, and optimization.

Object Detection: Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time object detection in video streams. Focus on identifying specific objects relevant to the context, such as medical equipment in healthcare settings.

Web API Development: Collaborate with the development team to integrate machine learning models into web-based applications. Develop RESTful APIs for seamless interaction between the machine learning backend and frontend web applications.

Database Management: Utilize SQL skills to manage and analyze large datasets collected from video streams. Design and maintain database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity for effective model training and inference.

Scripting and Programming: Develop scripts, utilities, and tools using JavaScript, Python, and optionally .NET for data preprocessing, model evaluation, and deployment automation. Proficiency in Python is a must, with familiarity in JavaScript and .NET being advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly in video processing and object detection.
• Expertise in TensorFlow and other deep learning frameworks for model development and training.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL for database management and data analysis.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, with proficiency in JavaScript and optionally .NET.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
