Responsibilities

• The data visualization specialist will work with a team building electronic dashboards representing communicable disease data for public and internal state and local health department users

• The primary goals are to provide customized access to data to support use of communicable disease surveillance data by stakeholders across the state and work to improve data equity by supporting community access to state and local users.

• This will be accomplished by developing and supporting Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience:

• Strong Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts with both health care professionals and IT personnel

• Prior experience with Tableau and Power BI

2+ years of experience:

• XML Transform experience, including document type definitions, Schema

Desired:

• Prior Experience with Healthcare or Public Health Data

• Data Exchange Interface engine experience

• SAS Experience
