Partnered with a client within the automotive industry

Administer data processing for the Logistics department related to freight costs for Inbound & Outbound shipments through overseeing all Access database functions in the department. Provide all RFP and data through gathering and analyzing shipment history and freight costs of approx. $80 million+ annually. Audit and report the expense of international and domestic transportation versus budgeted amounts through weekly and monthly reporting.
Maintain transportation expense via data obtained from web reporting and query data to explain cost trends.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analysis
• A plus to have but not required: experience in related logistics (freight rates, freight bill auditing) or automotive industry
• Highly desirable: WinSQL experience
• Strong working experience of SQL
• QMF (query management facility) preferred.
• Advanced skills in MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Previous experience with importing data files from mainframes and test formats to MS Excel/Access is ideal but not required
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
