Solutions Architect (Healthcare Information Technology) Undefined

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into digital solutions.
- Design end-to-end solutions that integrate various healthcare systems, applications, and data sources to improve operational efficiency and patient care.
- Develop architectural designs, specifications, and implementation plans for digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the healthcare industry and make recommendations for adoption based on their potential impact and value.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and support.
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and IT professionals, to gather requirements and address concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years in a related IT or Engineering discipline
- REQUIRED: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry (either healthcare provider, healthcare payor, or HIE)
- Understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and FHIR.
- This position is not a Cloud Architect, but candidate must have an understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with healthcare-specific cloud services.
- Experience with healthcare information systems, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and Population Health Management (PHM) platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
