Senior Machine Learning Engineer Contract

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field is a plus
• 5 7 years of experience
• Experience with ARIMA
• Experience with FB Prophet
• Experienced Machine Learning Engineer who has worked on universal forecasting models
• Experience with Gluon and Seasonal Nave
• Experience with OpenShift, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, MongoDB, APIs, and Python code
• Experience using DevOps tools in an SDLC environment
• Strong knowledge of statistics
• Strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills
• Financial background is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Working with Data Scientists in an SDLC environment in production
• Working in an adapted Agile environment
• Researching, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms for use in software and hardware applications
• Performing application programming activities including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying machine learning systems
• Analyzing and reviewing enhancement requests and specifications
• Implementing changes to algorithms to improve performance
• Troubleshooting problems to improve user experience
• Providing quality assurance reviews
• Performing post-implementation validation of machine learning models and resolving any bugs found during testing
