Job Summary
The Southeastern Ontario Academic Medical Organization (SEAMO) is responsible and accountable for the Alternative Funding Plan Agreement with the Ministry of Health and the Ontario Medical Association. We support the delivery of outstanding healthcare, foster excellence in research and education and facilitate the transformation of academic medicine in Southeastern Ontario.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Data Analyst provides technical expertise and leadership in the development and implementation of complex data solutions.
As a Senior Data Analyst, the position will take lead and be responsible for formulating, managing, and suggesting data-driven projects that align with the organization’s goals.
This position works closely with a variety of stakeholders to identify business requirements and solutions, and develops analytical plans to extract, analyze, and report on large datasets using advanced statistical and visualization software’s (i.e., SAS, SQL, PowerBI, etc.)
The work requires an extensive knowledge of advanced methods, techniques and best practices used in a specialized field such as: statistics, qualitative, quantitative and comparative analysis, data gathering, identification, compilation, statistical software for data analysis, trend analysis and risk analysis.
