R&D Engineer – NLP

A brilliant opportunity for an R&D Engineer / Developer with strong Python skills to work in an established AI Research team in London, UK. Offering fantastic career profession and the chance to work on some amazing projects to help accelerate Machine Learning based innovation.

Location: London – Hybrid working available 2 days a week in office

Salary: £45-£55k + benefits

Requirements for R&D Engineer – NLP:

• 1+ years’ experience of working in an R&D / Software Development role
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing techniques (Large Language Models (LLM) or modern speech to text systems
• Excellent academic history including 2.1 or 1st class degree and AAB at A Level
• Ideally a Ph.D. in a technical or scientific discipline – Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering etc (Beneficial)
• Very strong Python experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with autonomy and as part of a team
• Great communication skills with fluent spoken and written English

Responsibilities for R&D Engineer – NLP:

• Develop and propose innovative solutions to technical problems
• Produce proto types to test system implementations
• Innovate, evaluate and create ideas to further enhance the technology (lab tests, user tests and programme trials)
• Traditional project-based development, documenting your work as you go
