Job Overview:

As a Python and NLP Backend Engineer at HaiVE.tech, you will be integral to designing and implementing robust backend solutions for NLP-driven applications. You’ll collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to enhance our language model-driven products and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, test, and maintain robust and scalable backend components for NLP applications using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FASTAPI).
• Integrate large language models into applications, ensuring efficient and optimized usage for various NLP tasks.
• Develop data processing pipelines to prepare raw text data for model input, including tokenization, data cleaning, and feature extraction.
• Create RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between frontend applications and backend services, ensuring efficient data flow and interaction with language models.
• Apply advanced NLP techniques for tasks such as text analysis, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and text generation.
• Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and efficiency to handle large-scale NLP processing and user traffic.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards, adhere to best practices, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Monitor the health and performance of backend systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely maintenance and support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for backend processes, APIs, and infrastructure to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in NLP and language models, contribute ideas for innovative applications and improvements.
• Build phone call agents using Twilio and Vonage.
• Utilize AWS for cloud services and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
• Develop quick Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new ideas and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development using Python.
• Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals and experience with language models (e.g., GPT-3, BERT).
• Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with Twilio and Vonage for building phone call agents is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services and Jenkins for CI/CD is highly desirable.
• Ability to quickly develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

Salary Range:

₹8,00,000 to ₹12,00,000 per annum
