About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Organizational Analytics (OA) Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI (GenAI), and Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge in at least two of these three areas. You will work with a dynamic team to design, build, and deploy cutting-edge AI models, transforming data into actionable insights to drive organizational success.

Your responsibilities

Develop and implement advanced NLP models including word embeddings, transformer models, and large language models (LLMs).

Build and optimize GenAI models utilizing LLMs, leveraging open AI or open-source LLM technologies.

Design and deploy NLP models as products using CI/CD pipelines on cloud services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business processes and applications.

Conduct comprehensive data analysis and visualization to extract meaningful insights.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP, GenAI, and Data Engineering to continuously improve solutions.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers.

Required Skills

Natural Language Processing (NLP): Advanced skills in word embeddings, transformer models, and LLM model building.

Generative AI (GenAI): Experience in building models with LLMs using open AI or open-source LLM.

Data Engineering: Proficiency in deploying NLP models, CI/CD pipelining, and deploying models as products on cloud services.

Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.

You will have

Bachelor/Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineer, or Social Sciences

3 to 5 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning and research

1 year GenAI model/application development experience using methodologies like Retrieval Augmented Generation(RAG), Few shot learning etc.

LLM Engineering skills for enabling teams to quickly and efficiently deploy GenAI applications within cloud environment like Azure, AWS etc.

Data fluency and working knowledge of statistical methodologies

Data interpretation with working knowledge of analytic models and digital tools (coding experience desirable)

Desirable: Code (e.g., Python, R ) developer experience, including writing and testing code, debugging programs and deploying the models or integrating applications with third-party web services
