Net-Zero Data Public Utility – Data Architect Full Time

We are responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology – quickly and accurately. As a team, we are responsible for the development of Net Zero Transition focused data solutions, and work across key climate initiatives.

The Role

As part of the Net-Zero Data Public Utility Team, you will help shape and drive the technical tools, techniques, and workflows used for data management across the backend infrastructure. Working across the data, product, and technical teams, you will architect the systems and integrations that will accelerate the alignment of data and domain expertise for a scalable technical implementation. You will also get hands on working with the data systems in both an exploratory and production capacity.

Must Haves

• Experience working with complex data models covering 1000s of fields across multiple sources that evolve and expand over time
• Experience shipping solutions through internal and external teams that are available to the public and a wide variety of users
• Ability to translate industry and team knowledge into a performant data system architecture designed for web and API driven applications, validation frameworks, and data transparency systems
• Built and deployed Python based solutions to cloud-based infrastructure
• Prior contributions to system design and architecture

Nice to have

• Experience with corporate emissions and financial data
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
