Machine Learning Engineer Full Time

Type: Direct Hire (please note that visa sponsorship is not available at this time)

Location: Houston, Texas

Schedule: Onsite Tuesday – Thursday. Remote Monday and Fridays

You will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems, implementing appropriate ML algorithms, conducting experiments, collaborate with other engineers and data scientists to integrate your solutions.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in computer science, mathematics, and statistics, as well as experience in working with various machine learning frameworks and tools. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for artificial intelligence and its applications.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field plus 3 years of industry experience.
• Advanced math and statistics skills in subjects such as linear algebra, calculus and Bayesian statistics.
• Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer or a similar role
• Proficiency in Python, R and other programming languages
• Knowledge of data science, statistics, and machine learning concepts and frameworks
• Experience with machine learning libraries and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Experience with data processing and analysis tools such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services in AWS and Azure.
• Experience working across multiple departments and disciplines.
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools such as Git, GitHub, etc.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in machine learning, neural networks, deep learning or related fields.
• Experience writing Terraform and YAML Pipelines
• Experience with Agile methodology
