The Technology Modernization Consulting practice at Cognizant helps clients to reimagine, redefine, and transform their businesses through technology. Your role:
This position is within the Benelux CIO and IT Leadership Advisory team, which focusses on providing advisory and consulting services to customers on topics related to IT Strategy.
As an IT Strategy Consultant, you will deliver value and excellence to our customers through key project engagements, and you will also support the growth of the Technology Modernization Consulting practice. Our services focus on the agendas of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and/or product/platform owners, on mainly Digital & Emerging Technologies and Technology Transformation.
Responsibilities –
This position is within the Benelux CIO and IT Leadership Advisory team, which focusses on providing advisory and consulting services to customers on topics related to IT Strategy.
As an IT Strategy Consultant, you will deliver value and excellence to our customers through key project engagements, and you will also support the growth of the Technology Modernization Consulting practice. Our services focus on the agendas of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and/or product/platform owners, on mainly Digital & Emerging Technologies and Technology Transformation.
Responsibilities –
- Shape, contribute, and deliver value through advisory consultancy, and transformational delivery engagements
- Connect and collaborate with teams across our business in the development and presentation of proposals to clients
- Work with account teams to support opportunity identification, qualification, and sales
- Develop a cross practice understanding of service offerings to ensure effective consultative selling
- Use your personal contacts and networking skills to help grow our consulting pipeline
- Contribute to the development of a knowledge management led approach ensuring the development of reusable collateral from assignments
- Team building: promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in their projects and our team, making meaningful contributions, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
What you will bring to the team:
- Experience or expertise in any of the following areas: IT Strategy Development, IT Operating Model design, IT Portfolio Management, Merger & Acquisition Services, or Enterprise Architecture
- Previous experience in an IT Strategy Advisory or Technology Consulting role is preferred
- Experience of working across multiple industry sectors (preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills at senior levels that will enable consensus building and shaping technology direction
- Very strong inquisitive and critical thinking skills, communication and presentation skills, and a relationship builder with the ability to convince
- Energetic and free thinking; open to lead and coach, and be coached
