The Enterprise Data and Information Management Program’s Health Information Management Division at the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Information Technology Supervisor II position within the Business Intelligence Branch. Telework is subject to DHCS’ Telework Program guidelines.

About this Role:
In this role, you will act as an advocate of the Enterprise Data Management Strategy (EDMS) and supports staff with projects and efforts related to the data management strategy and goals. Tasks involve collaboration with DHCS stakeholders, internal and external, to support the Department’s efforts in data management and strategy, which may include highly complex, enterprise-level projects.
Training and Development (T&D) assignments may be considered for this position for current California civil service employees. T&D assignments cannot exceed 24 months. However, successful T&D candidates may transition to a permanent appointment, if eligible at the end of the T&D assignment.

Telework Information
The DHCS standard for hybrid work is a minimum of two days per week in-person and site-based and up to three teleworking days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department’s operational business needs and subject to change consistent with DHCS’ Telework Program and Goverment Code sections 14200-14203. Telework is avaialbe to Californa residents, and proof of residency may be required.
