Data Scientist – NLP, LLM, and GenAI Contract

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), and Generative AI (GenAI) to join our team on a Contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing new products and services that utilize modern AI technologies, including state-of-the-art LLMs.

Job Title: Data Scientist – NLP, LLM, and GenAI (Contract)

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience working with structured and unstructured data using NLP techniques.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience applying LLMs to solve real-world industry problems.
• Strong understanding of NLP fundamentals and related concepts such as vectorization, semantic search, etc.
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and LLM fine-tuning is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Python is required; familiarity with AWS, FastAPI, Gradio, and Docker is a plus.
• Passion for Generative AI, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Technology teams to conceptualize and develop innovative AI-powered products.
• Utilize advanced LLMs from leading providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Mistral to tackle challenges specific to financial data.
• Design and implement models and pipelines for tasks like Named Entity Recognition (NER) and Entity Resolution.
• Evaluate and optimize the performance of AI solutions, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Deploy new products and services using best practices in MLOps / LLMOps.
