### Job Description: Data Analyst / Programmer

**Overview:**
The role involves creating reports across multiple platforms including Power BI, Excel, SAS programs, and SQL queries. Additionally, managing requests for new project offerings and data research and issue resolution are critical responsibilities.

**Interaction with Team:**
– The team is tightly-knit, working collaboratively towards common goals.

**Work Environment:**
– Required to work in the Nashville office at least 2 days per week.

**Education & Experience Required:**
– A 4-year college or university degree in any discipline, OR
– Minimum of 5 years exempt experience in information services, programming, and data research.
– Progressive experience demonstrating increasing responsibility and accountability.
– Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.

**Technical Skills (Required):**
– Proficiency in computer mainframe operations and SAS programming.
– Familiarity with other mainframe programming languages.
– Basic skills in SQL queries.

**Soft Skills (Required):**
– Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
– Understanding of Microsoft operating systems.
– Ability to train and advise employees on business processes and procedures.
– Capability to identify and recommend new processes to address system deficiencies.
– Familiarity with documentation and flowcharting techniques.
– Experience in performing acceptance testing to ensure business technology supports objectives.
– Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
– Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.

**Interview Process:**
– Conducted using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) methodology.
– Group interviews involving three managers.

**Disqualifiers/Red Flags:**
– Lack of experience with mainframe operations or SQL.

This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing data analysis and programming tasks across various platforms while fostering strong teamwork and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
