Data Analyst III 24-00278 Contract

Job Description:
The main function of a data analyst is to coordinate, test, and implement changes to computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. This role will involve analyzing data in HR Systems to investigate concerns such as data discrepancies and will also work with cross functional teams to investigate and resolve these concerns.

Review HR systems to analyze data quality and investigate concerns
Investigate HR data discrepancies and clearly define the issues and use current or new processes for resolution
Write execute code to alter data in the database or direct others in coding tasks
Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
Present findings to stakeholders by dissecting concerns and discussing improvement steps

Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

Must Have Skills:
Knowledge of database management software.
3+ years of Data Analysis experience with an expertise in investigating discrepancies and aligning with multiple stakeholders on remediation steps
Experience in stakeholder communication/presentation and management
Data Analysis tools such as SQL, Pandas (Python)

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of HR Systems (ect. Workday)
Advanced Python Experience
