Data Analyst Full Time

About the role

Reporting to the Global Data & Analytics Manager – Penfolds, this role will support the transformation of Penfolds’ decision-making processes by developing innovative reporting solutions, empowering other business stakeholders to uplift their reports and collaborating with the central D&A hub to deliver great outcomes for Penfolds. 

• Support the design and development of highly effective reporting that transforms the level of insights we have to inform decision-making, using trusted data sources
• Build and maintain a deep understanding of relevant data sources, and where required, drive improvement in the collection, cleaning, storage and reporting of this data 
• Enhance the user experience at all levels of global Penfolds in finding, interpreting, interrogating, and embedding insights into routine decision-making and forums. 
• Enable the development and tracking of targets and inform next steps for performance uplift and optimisation of global Penfolds processes
• Educate Penfolds’ business stakeholders about how they can optimise data and analytics to better inform decision making
• Champion data governance and data management practices for Penfolds globally

About you

We are seeking a Data & Analytics professional with an interest in data storytelling and the ability to engage diverse audiences and create simplicity from complexity. You possess a curious mind with a strong desire to understand data, ask insightful questions, and uncover hidden patterns and trends.

• Experience with applicable technologies: 
  • Power BI (Advanced)
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
  • Relational databases and SQL (Intermediate)
• Experience being part of a data analyst community, exhibiting work, supporting other projects and providing feedback
• Understanding of Finance and Budgeting & Forecasting processes
• Familiarity with Change Management
