VIQU have partnered with a government authority based in Warwickshire who are looking to invest in their internal development teams. They are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect with expertise on the Azure Cloud Platform.

The Azure Solutions Architect will be responsible for offering specialised guidance on infrastructure and application solutions and you will be tasked with crafting business cases, exploring solution alternatives, creating solution overviews, and developing high-level designs. Additionally, the Azure Solutions Architect will oversee the technical interactions with third-party vendors and provide guidance for the execution of various projects. As the Azure Solutions Architect, your functional insights and technical skills will be crucial in the designing of systems that meet the requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Azure Solution Architect:

• Responsible for producing business cases, solution options, high level designs and managing the technical relationship between 3rd party vendors.
• Design systems to support the organisation’s needs.
• Collaborate with other business units to ensure plans meet overall business needs.

Essential Skills of the Azure Solution Architect:

• 5+ years’ experience in a Solutions Architect role.
• 5+ years’ experience within Microsoft Azure, including designing, implementing, and migrating applications into Microsoft Azure.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of solution domains such as transformation and migration, application development, integration, infrastructure, security, business analysis, and service management, while staying abreast of current market trends. Experience of designing & implementing solutions as part of multi-stream change programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend intricate business challenges and commercial structures and apply a logical and methodical approach to devise effective solutions.
• Significant experience of implementing and enforcing governance and assurance methods.
• Strong understanding of business process and technical concepts (business process design, servers, networks, service management and security)
